A glitzy, high-tech version of the famous real estate board
game. Three contestants competed on a large illuminated
board containing 22 property squares and 18 other spaces,
via questions and rolls of the dice. The goal was to amass
property, build monopolies, and stay out of jail. Prizes
went as high as $50,000. The program was originally
offered in syndication to local stations, but not finding
enough takers Monopoly wound up--briefly--on ABC instead.
